Discover the magic of the National Park de Biesbosch in a unique way with an overnight stay in a luxury AquaHome houesboat. During the summer period, the AquaHome is located standard on a jetty at the Noordwaard.
Explore the beautiful surroundings of the National Park de Biesbosch and discover its many picturesque spots, whether on foot, by bike or from the water. Be surprised by the rugged creeks, winding paths and lush willow forests, where local fauna, such as beavers, fish and sea eagles, have found a home. The National Park de Biesbosch is a popular destination, not only because of the National Park itself, but also because of the attractive region around it. Visit the Biesbosch Museum, for example, where you learn more about the history of this area, including the role during World War II, with its focus on willow and reed mining.

During the winter period and early spring, the AquaHome houseboat is located at the head of the jetty in the small harbour of Watersports Association Woudrichem with a beautiful view over the Afgedamde Maas. A peaceful spot with occasional sporting activity on the water.

Woudrichem is an absolute small town with a breathtaking piece of nature surroundings. In the beloved Groesplaat nature reserve, you can take very nice walks and enjoy semi-wild Icelandic horses and imposing Galloway cattle running loose there. The convenient ferry system offers the possibility to sail to Gorinchem or Slot Loevestein as well. Woudrichem offers a variety of history, scenic spots, terraces, restaurants, shops, and panoramic views. You can stroll through the town yourself or book a city tour with enthusiastic city guides who can tell you all about the monuments, the Dutch Waterline, river fishing and cultural aspects. Visit the fish auction, the statue of Jacoba van Beieren, the windmill, the Fisheries Museum, and the film locations of Denkend aan Holland with Andre and Janny. Either way, there is a lot to discover in this beautiful, fortified town!

The price per night is based on accommodation only and concerns a permanent mooring at a jetty. On weekends a minimum stay of 2 nights applies!

*Including: made beds, kitchen towels, bath/hand towels, coffee/tea, sweetener, milk powder, bottle of drinking water, tourist tax and final cleaning! Also present for use: everything for the dishes, hand soap, olive oil, pepper, salt, kitchen paper, toilet paper, water and electricity.

AquaHome Zeearend: suitable for maximum 2 persons
AquaHome Bever: suitable for a maximum of 4 persons

Sailing arrangements

The ultimate Biesbosch experience at its best!
During the summer period, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to stay overnight in the Biesbosch at a different location.

Our sailing arrangements* consist of:

• You will be hospitably welcomed by your hosts with coffee and/or tea at an agreed time.
• Guided tour and explanation of your AquaHome.
• Your skipper will sail you to your chosen location. Guaranteed to enjoy a unique cruise!
• You will be firmly anchored at your chosen spot for an overnight stay.
• With the sloop* (to be hired separately), you can explore the Biesbosch from the water.
• On the agreed day and time, you will be picked up again and sail back to the starting point.
• Our skipper will be happy to take you (for a fee) to another magical spot in the Biesbosch.

Sailing arrangement 1: near a small beach, halfway through the Biesbosch, private and detached from the shore.
Sailing arrangement 2: active beaver spot in the middle of the beautiful heart of the Biesbosch. Private and separate from the shore. (However, we cannot guarantee that the beavers will show themselves during your visit).

* Sailing arrangements are only possible in the Biesbosch.
* Sailing arrangements do not include boat fees. These costs depend on the number of days you stay.
